I had a chance to camp out at Tar Hollow State Park on Saturday night and then meet up with some folks on Sunday to hike the North Loop of the Logan Trail. While it was chilly on Saturday, the campfire actually kept me warm while I read a book by myself by headlamp under the light of the Hunter’s Moon.
I’d definitely do this hike again. Very well marked, beautiful area, easy access to Columbus and has multiple overnight options. Or you could do the North and South loops and make it a multi-day hike and just camp outdoors.
